Some great low-level, high speed flying here. Be sure to watch the English performance from 1992, right below. Unfortunately, England wasn't having one of its typical clear, sunny days during this demo, so it's sometimes hard to find the gray plane in the gray sky.

You got me with this one.
Brought back lots of memories being in the cockpit of our old F-4B's in Nam.
Semper-Fi.

The only thing better than those videos would have been one in the cockpit.
Some of those gut wrenching maneuvers would show what fighter pilots miss when they get too old to do them.

Considering the F-4 was a mid-50's design, it's a testament to the strength of the design.

Okay you Phantom wizards. Do any of you know which variant designator was used twice?

That's cheating, St3v3m  I expected you to know it off the top of your head.

I was assigned to VF-121 in 1966-67 at NAS Miramar, CA. At least a couple were assigned to us for awhile. I think most of them were assigned to VF-154 before being converted back to F-4B standard.

the f-4 was by far the sexiest jet fighter ever made. i would add the f-100 super sabre and the f-105 to the list as well
