A quick trip Grand Junction this week to meet with surgeon for 5 week followup. Good news, my PSA is non-detectable, and while that's not evidence yet of a cure, the compass is pointing in the right direction for the first time in a while for the home team.
I had good light. I had vowed to buy a new D810 + 3 lenses (50mm, 16-35 and 80-400) the day I got home from surgery. I had some indecisiveness on a tripod so I waited until the day after. I notice a real improvement in IQ over the D810 and my consumer lenses.

Grand Circle area is eye candy. I would love to spend more time there with a Camera.

Wayne, thanks for sharing your talent ...... I have never ceased to be awed by your captures of nature. Yes, the new camera is nice, but it was always the artist, not the equipment capturing all this beauty. Still, if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for (with?) you.

bcheary, I thought of that but they're 20mb files, and my internet service is so poor that it invariably gets interrupted when I try to load large files.
Been to Moab several times. Never, never get tired of it. Beautiful places all around. Still trying to capture Mesa Arch sunrise. Great pictures.
Great shots of great country. I can tell you are ready for your personal geologist!
