This remind me that one needs to be careful when opening a New Topic.
So are those rings that fit in front of a telephoto lens that turns it into a Micro, OK. Would they not put a lot of stress on the front of your lens?

I never add optics to a macro lens. When I need more than 1:1 magnification (life-size), add auto-extension tubes between camera & lens.
