I recently got a Sigma 18-300 for Nikon. Even in this latest release, I don't see a profile for it in the Develop module. Anyone got an answer on how to obtain one or do I need to either be patient until Adobe creates one or I make one myself? Thanks...

Do you know about the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader and Lens Profile Creator?
I looked around in the Downloader and could not locate a profile for the Sigma 18-300/Nikon (there was one for a Canon/Sigma combo). Looks like you would indeed have to wait, or make one yourself. (I am going to try and figure out the Lens Profile Creator now...)

If you don't mind I've been meaning to ask a related question for some time. The answer might relate to your question as well.

I have somewhat recently downloaded a new list of lenses. It is very comprehensive and includes all my present lenses. BUT, and this is cause of the question, sometimes this full list does not come up. Instead I get only a very abbreviated list.

What is causing that?
