Just received the new 28-300 and am very pleased. Used it alternatively with my Canon 6D and 7D. Was thinking about the advantages of the mirrorless way of life but am thinking differently now. This lens which is relatively small and relatively light on the full frame 6D combines to make a package that I can handle very easily and carry all day. The image quality is quite good. Hope you enjoy the photos.
Best to all.

Hi Steve, Great photos , Since the NY photo show i have been deciding between a Tamron 28-300 or a Nikon 28-300, and actually am awaiting Santa to deliver the the Nikon today by UPS... I have an 18-270 Tamron which is DX and I love it for my D7000, it takes fabulous shots and is my main lens for Airshows and travel..but on my D-810 its not so great. I talked to Tamron at the NY Show and they recommended the 28-300 which is full frame FX .. So I researched and decided on the Nikon 28-300 , I will let you know how i like it, I needed a Full Frame FX for my D-810 .. Your shots are great , I am sure you will certainly enjoy your Tamron.
