Lens breathing is a hot topic, but is it really an issue? For me, I focus the object, set depth of field and then compose my shot. If I have to move a little to get all element, so be it. Choose the correct lens for the job if you’re trying to a specific look. A 28-300mm may not be what you want. A fixed prime or a smaller range zoom may be the correct choice. Too many videos of pros married to their 70-200 mm as an all purpose wedding and portrait lens, not always the case.
