Both are beautiful birds and looks like you did a nice job with focus, perhaps with the falcon having the most clarity.
(edit - after reading jeep_daddy's comments, I realize the falcon could have been lighter to show more detail. For now, it's likely you can retrieve some of that in post processing.)
When shooting birds in flight, most of the time I push the exposure about 2/3rds to 1 stop so that the sky is more pale and the under sides of the bird are more exposed showing more detail. Also, you should crop the bottom image so that we see more detail and the top image should be discarded because the top is ever so slightly cut off.
I'm only giving you an honest critique so you can improve. My advise is to shoot BIF (birds in flight) with as many frame/second as your camera can do, push the exposure about one stop, keep the shutter speed up to 1/1600th or faster, and practice a lot to keep the BIF centered. This takes a lot of practice and is harder the longer the glass is. Good luck. I know you will get many more pictures of BIF.
Thank's for the looking and responding
Both are good shots. The falcon is definately sharper.
