spider was just under macro, fractal and spider integrated via ps.
Nice work! The monotone presentation works well with this.

This is very well done, Piet! I hate spiders, but this shot is exceptionally good.
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback, it is always an unknown how something off-the-wall is received.
Bob, when I had the spider and the disparate Quattorus fractal together, using filters on them was how I attempted to unify them. Thank for for commenting on its effectiveness.
Amy, Sue, I am afraid of spiders and very much do not like it when I touch one or if it touches me. Like snakes, they make you "feel" something when you see one. A dog can bite me, or a cat can scratch me - and I am fearless when such happens, but a spider or snake is not allowed to crawl on me!!
Fantastic work! I love it!

I'm impressed...... this grabs me down on that non-verbal level. I can't tell you why, just know that it's happening.
Thank you DixieGirl and Bob Yankle, I go back and forth between liking and not liking it.. If I had a do-over, I would be tempted to give it more real-estate on the sides and to attempt painting a shaft of light onto the spider. Also am torn about the direction, a do-over would have smoke going the other way and make the spider a jib-sail that is pulling the fractal instead of the other way round... Thank you guys!
