Private drive just east of Boulder, CO decorated every year. Owner allows cars into this portion of his driveway to see the lights.

Headed to take pics of lights at a botanical garden Monday evening. Any general rule of thumb you used for settings??.?.

Actually the lights are blurred because I didn't use a tripod. A tripod lets you use a slower shutter speed (2 seconds or so ), f2.8 on aperature. Frankly you want to take a few on Program mode. There have been a few recent posts on photographing out door Christmas displays, you should refer to them. Not my best photos.

Yes, our senior center photo club is going. Went last year, but we're trying to improve.

Love the wagon image! Pin point sources of light create diffraction and interference from the other sources of light.
