After several months of lurking I've decided to join the fray.
I have found many helpful tips and comments on the forum.
I'm not completely new to photography as a hobby as I purchased my first 35mm film camera thirty odd years ago, but recently fullfilled a bucket list item by purchasing a Nikon D3300.

welcome to the Hog, like you I started with a Nikon 35mm 50 years ago, treat your dslr the same way you you did your 35mm adding the new digital tricks one at a time and you will do fine. looking forward to see you'r work.
