I need some advice on where to produce a photo book that needs to be about 30 pages in size. I have checked with Shutter Fly and others, and have not found them to be user friendly, nor will they allow downloading photos from a USB flash drive. Would appreciate any experiences Hogs may wish to supply.

Costco has great reproduction and their prices are affordable. And you can return any book to have them redo if something doesn't come out right. You can compile the book right from your house and pick it up at their store to save shipping.

I looked at some Costco books at their counter. They are pretty good! I've seen one copy from Blurb that was near "coffee table" quality but it was a lot more money.

You might consider My Publisher. I have created several coffee table quality books with them during the past five years. Costco used to discount to them until they went "in house".

Made a book of an Africa trip at blurb and everyone that has seen it was really wowed. True it was a bit more than some of the others but it is beautiful. A more experienced photographer that had his done by shutterfly was so impressed he did another at blurb.

I've made a few with Adoramapix. I think they're still having sales.

I have used my publisher 3 times now and have been very pleased with the results. I can buy form Blacks, Cosco or Walmart but I just trust my publisher and they have not let me down. Very easy to work with, make sure if you go with them wait for one of their sales.

If you use Aperture 3 you can make a book with that. Simple and easy.

Also, Lightroom has a book module that is linked to blurb. (That is if you have Lightroom)

I do all my photobooks at Adorama. High quality and fair price.
