Kinda new here.Looking at alot of the pictures here which I have enjoyed.I kinda just shoot what I see and don't do anything to them.
Just straight forward and to the point.
I left the house about three weeks ago to get a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts and the traffic was so bad I couldn't make a left turn back home so I turned right and started to putz around and ended up 55 miles south in KY.
I could not get out of the car and walk to get better pictures due to uneven ground so I shot thru the windshield or side window.

Just fun stuff.

I would like to welcome you to Ugly Hedgehog, steppenwolf. I like your pictures, and your story. I have trouble in getting out of my car too. Don't let any physical shortcomings slow you down. Keep shooting and downloading. You will make lots of friends on the "Hog".

I like the 4th one with the pieces of track just lying there waiting. They will probably stay there until they turn into rail shaped piles of rust.

And I've never seen a private railroad crossing. Wonder how rich you have to be for that one??!! :)

Good shots, steppenwolf, especially considering they were taken through the windshield or side window of your car! I love railroad tracks, too, and have many shots of them. Welcome to UHH and keep sharing your photos!
