I had tried to download topaz Impression and it really screwed up my computer, had to get it reformatted now I am really leery about downloading their product, I have a bunch of others that I use and love, has anyone downloaded this one yet and how is it. Was there any problems like their Impressions ?

Fishone0 - Did you install the software on a Windows system or on a Mac? What "screwed-up" symptoms did you encounter? We're you able to get any support from Topaz? In the last few days, I encountered problems with a similar software app named "Intensity Pro" developed for Mac users by a developer named MacPhun. Twice the software seemed to install and it allowed me to use it briefly, but the following day I discovered that my edited images were not in fact saved and there is no sign that the software was ever installed. Fortunately, it does not seem to have adversely affected my system in any other way.

Had to reformat ... and install all your programs??? Humm ever heard of having a backup HD?
What type of anti-virus-malware are you running and how often do you scan???

Hay, not condemning you, but do as I say not do as I do. I wasted a day retrieving my HD & Programs in early Nov, my back up was in April... stupid me!!

The above suggests that the problem was not the fault of Topaz rather some evil lurking in your computer.... I have never had a problem associated with Topaz. Did you download from the Topaz site?

I just down loaded the same programme, no problem at all until I went to run it. Then I got a message saying that it needs a 64 bit OS to run - will not run on 32 bit. Thanks for telling me AFTER I downloaded - why not state this upfront and save everyone some time. Grrrrrrrrr!

JoJo - Your link contains an "s" after "http" - I believe the "s" is not necessary and it prevents your link from actually linking to anything. Just sayin'. When the "s" is removed the link works just fine and the info is helpful. /Ralph

You must get a driver update for your video card. Can get in net with driver dectect and more. Price is about 30$ but you save the download and use it on all your pcs etc. I had to do this one both of mine, results are fine product is worth it.

Yes that is right.I had been given a warning on screen that indicated this, hard to believe but true. One pc has a high class game card.
