I took delivery of my two poppies today, they are not as much to look at on their own as when they sat amongst the 888,246 but they are still a poignant reminder of the fallen British soldiers of the First World War.

Wow, both are outstanding! Are the stems always that straight? Amazing! :thumbup:

Thanks Jeanbug, Due to having an operation on my back recently I was unable to go there in person but I would have been choked up if I had for sure.

Thank you Dixie, as the number of poppies grew to the final total it really hit home how many soldiers lost their lives, very moving indeed.
