Using HDR technique with Panoramic Technique

I saw just one attempt in Archives of using HDR with Panoramic capture. It wasn't very helpful.

Would HDR panoramic simply involve HDR captures with each panoramic shot?

Any examples?

How does one have the time to capture, say, a sunset, with panoramic sequential images in HDR without the light changing too dramatically?

Usually the HDR function should not take unusually long. At six frames a second my Nikon D7000 can shoot each HDR frame in one half second each. And it only takes about the same amount of time,a half second or so, to pan to the next station and fire off another set three frames. So with that speed changing light is not an issue. However, moving branches, leaves, cars and people present a bigger problem than changing light.

You just need to keep focused (no pun intented) on what your doing . Don't let anyone talk to you , etc, as you will likely lose track of where you are in the process.

I would start with a straight horizantal shot, not one that contains several rows of images that all have to match up for stitching leting alone the merge with the HDR software.
