I'm looking to upgrade from my Nikon D80 and have narrowed it down to four cameras. The Nikon D7100 and D5300 or the Cannon EOS 70D and 60D. Any help would be great.

D7100 as it is the only camera listed by you that will definitely autofocus with all the lenses you may have used on the D80.
I have the D7100. A great camera imho.
I strongly recommend the D7100 over the other three cameras that you are considering. You will not be disappointed.
I sold all of my lenses with my D80.
even though your have sold your Nikon lens the 7100 is still a better camera. Here is a comparison from Snapsort.com. Sometimes their comparison numbers don't jib with the features of a camera ; but it is a good side by side comparison of each. Good luck in your quest.

owned and shot D7100 with nikon 50/1.8, 50/1.4 and canon 70D with zeiss 50/1.4.
For color and clarity at F 2 the canon images had more pop, less sharpness.
Solved the problem by trading the zeiss/canon 50/1.4 for one with the nikon F mount and gained an aperture ring.
I'm leaning towards the D7100, has anyone heard of The Digital Pros, they have prices that are lower than anyone else. Are they legit or Grey market.
I can only speak for the 60D. I have been shooting with it for over 2 years now and love it.

They are grey market only, you will have no warranty.

Tom, welcome to the Hog.
Tom, the Cannon 70dd is simply the BIGGEST towel any man will ever use!!
Seriously, if you are willing to switch to Canon the 70 is the highest tech camera of the bunch, hence packs a lot of bang for the buck.
It comes with built-in wifi and an articulating screen. It will shoot decent sports with its 7 fps and native ISO of 13,000.
Comes with built-electronic level for doing panorama shots and in-camera HDR.
But Tom, here's the biggie, NO other camera comes with Auto Focus video. That will allow you to shoot stopped down video, just like Hollywood does. Even if you don't use video, a few years down the road if you go to trade up, it'd easier to sell a camera with newer tech and that video may be REAL important to someone else.
Tom, that's my recommendation and why.
Don't get me wrong, the 7100 is a VERY good camera, but has been around for a few years and MT, whom is the Nikon Guru here has predicted that the 7100 model will be replaced as early as February. Personally, I would never buy a camera at the end of its life unless I where getting a huge discount. Even then, it's just a bargain but it's still the same camera and lacks all the newer tech. Good luck.

Get that one..
Or wait... get this one...
No, no, no, the other one....
I mean the one over there....
You are use to a Nikon. But hell, if you don't mind struggling, by all means get a Canon and retrain your mind and hands.
Bottom line is: Nobody out here will be using your choice. You will. ;)
