I want to sell some of my best wildlife photos on very nice canvas prints.

I have tried several and so far the best I have found is Costco's.

Here's what I would like to be able to do and hopefully some of you can help me make the right decision.

I would like to be able to place an order and have the work done and shipped directly to the purchaser. But I want to know that the buyer will be getting a great print that is stretched on a good frame and wrapped round the frame with the true edges of the photo and not some lined-colored gobbly-gooked look.

Who do you guys use and who do you recommend. I do not want it shipped with a put together frame, I want it so when it arrives all they have to do is hang it up.

Thanks to all of you for any help. Buglinbilly

Obviously Costco is not in the order fulfillment business so I guess you will have to find a private lab - and work with them.

I have used Bay Photo and American Color Imaging - ACIlab.com

Both will drop ship to your customer and any errors will be yours - not theirs. :-)

Any Pro lab will do this. Those mentioned above as well as WHCC, Millers, H&, Burrell Imaging, etc.

One good reason NOT to do this is that if YOU made any errors, you will not have the opportunity to correct them. Just a thought.

There are several sites out there where all you have to do in set up your business with the photos that you want to sell. They even let you set the selling price and the amount of profit you desire to make on each canvas. So your customers order the canvas' and they pay the price you have set the shipping and select ready to hang in the options and at the end of the month you are sent a check for the profits. You can do all this on any search vehicle. It will even tell them if they have selected a print size to large so they can either step it down or even up if they desire.
Good luck.

Thanks to all of you for your help.

What I am looking for a a good product that I can set up and know when its shipped and received that the client is getting what they want. I know if I make a mistake its my fault, but I want to be able to set it up, mistake free and be assured when it is sent out that they get a good canvas, ready to hang.

I don't want to have every canvas having to be sent to me and then send it on once I approve it. There has to be a few good places out there where this can be done.

Again thanks to all whom contributed to this discussion and hopefully I can hear from others who might do their business that way.

Have a good one BB

For example, here's a mule deer that quite a few people want. I have several very good photos of this buck, that are sharp and crisp and I just want to be sure that I can sell it to my clients on a canvas ready so all they have to do is hang it and enjoy it.

Great image!

Go to ACIlab.com, download the ROES software. I have purchased several gallery wraps from them and the work is flawless.

Any lab that does gallery wraps will have the template that shows you how the sides of your image will be wrapped and consequently what might need to be added to the wrap so your full image is on the front and not wrapped around the sides.

I am watching this because I am in the process of setting up a website at zenfolio. I like the ease of the job and the way the website looks.
They fill orders thru MPix, I've heard good thing about them, but don't yet have any experience with them. Just waiting to see if anyone has any comments.

I know Costco ships to a different address, but I don't know how you would see it.

Billy,
You can also try Canvas on Demand Pro, this company has a great service, and I know many that use it.
