Looking at the Canon D70 or the Nikon D7100.The reason is we show horses. And we need something that will work. In arenas so the lighting is different than out side. And outside photos with action. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciate.

Welcome. Try a search on this site regarding different brands. Alot will depend on $$$ and what you want and need. Some camreas may be overkill for your needs. Putting your hands on one is important also. Canon nikon sony fugi all make good units. I myself like my sony a3000. My nikon p510 is good also but requires a higher iso with alot of noise potential when blown up. Post some shots when you can.

Thanks for the info, we talk to a guy at ritz camera. And he show us the Canon D60 and D70. both to me where great cameras. With this cameras, he said they would work for action shots, video and still shots. but the cost is high but i don't mind the money. Its the quality and what we need to take great pics. for our farm.

I will give a view from my side , I have the D7100. I think it's a very good camera & the proof is in the pudding, you can look at a lot of pudding in my flickr link below I well say no more.

If you want to cover action, I would definitely recommend looking at Sony A6000 or A77.....

Great eye Photosmoke. I just bought a D7100 (moving up from a D80). I hope I can find some shots as good as yours inside.

You can't go wrong with a Nikon D7100. It is one of the best selling cameras on the market today. Your lighting differences will be taken care of immediately by setting your white balance to automatic. That way the camera will adjust itself whether you are taking photos inside a building or outside in natural light. If you choose to make the adjustment yourself you can do that too. You will be able to use the D7100 for years before needing another camera.

One more question, I've looked at cameras on line at ritz, ebay, best buy, conns, and went to ritz/ wolf cameras etc. I've look at package deal. Are the good deals or just buy the camera or get the other stuff later. Thanks again for everybodys imput.

To be absolutely honest I would not recommend either. Indoor arena shots would improve drastically with a full frame body like the Nikon D610 over ANY crop sensor body. Much higher ISO performance and the price is not very much more right now.

since you've gotten along so far a little more time won't hurt. talk to the people at the shows, ask what they are using and why. then check the best choices out.
