We have 2 and they will gladly steal at least one ornament or more every night... So we gave up and put stuff down low for them..... One year i had to put a hook in the ceiling to keep the tree from falling down when they climbed.... I can certainly sympathize with you :-D :-D

LOL..... they do make life fun!! I have 6 cats and a dog, Larry, and they all love it under there, but we have an artificial, so they're not really interested in climbing it!!

Nice!! And I envy you both, Angela and Larry, for the relationship you have with your animals. My wife and I gave up on having pets for the freedom of travelling whenever and for any length of time. We do still miss and often talk about those pets we had back in the days we worked and stayed home more, but . . .

We wish you ALL a very merry CHRISTMAS season!!

Thanks for the visit RS, and sometimes I do envy you, my husband and I never get to go away, always thinking of the fur-babies, but we love them so much, for now, they will always be a part of our family.
If you have love to spare regarding a fur-baby, you can foster for short term, shelters always need that, or just go to a shelter and spread your love on those poor animals that have yet to find their fur-ever home!
Thanks you for your Christmas wishes, and same to you and your family!!

We hadn't thought about the shelter idea you mention. There are times when my wife brings up wanting to do something like a WalMart job or whatever, just to have something to do.

I point out to her that that may be a good idea, but that it also has its 'drawbacks'; such as times they'd schedule you for (the ones no one else wants) and taking a position from someone who might NEED it more.

Volunteering at an animal shelter might just be the thing to do, and that might be an interesting place to have a camera, also. Thanks for the suggestion.

I volunteered at an animal shelter for 8 years, just left this past August, because I'm going to be a grandma come January, and I just thought it was time to leave. That would be wonderful if she could volunteer, because they always need help in any small way. I was a cat volunteer one day a week and cleaned cages and gave lots of love. The most rewarding part, is when there is an animal that's been there for a long time and then finds a home... you just do a happy dance for them!! One word of advice, make sure it's a no-kill shelter, or your hearts will be broken, and you might feel obligated to take them all home with you!!!
Good luck with that, and I'd love to know if it happens, and yes, taking your camera would be super!!

Cute. I know that situation well. Having dogs now, we can put the decorations anywhere.

Years ago, I was letting our cat out the front door, and I noticed about 6" of tinsel hanging out of her rear. "Me, eating tinsel? Don't be ridiculous."
