Hi CMC. I have a Canon 400 2.8 that I use most of the time. That is the one I used today for these shots.

BTW Your photos happen to show a couple of identifying attributes of the Rough Legged Hawk...their noticeably smaller beak and talons. Supposedly because of their preference for smaller prey.
