Those lucky white cops who do their jobs in an area with almost no b****s. They can frisk a person without seeing the incident on the national media. They can arrest a person without having to hear from Al Sharpton. They can stop a car swerving down the street without wondering if the driver will pull a gun on them. They can perform their duties without fear that the perpetrators will burn down their town. They won't have to hear negative comments about their profession from the US Attorney General nor the President of the United States.

Yes...but as a reward for their efforts , at the insistence of our current leadership, we will now be spending a fortune making them wear body cameras to prove they don't have an issue! What a bout making the masses wear cameras???

It's so sad that there are so many r****ts in our society today who; while seeing r****m in every action also cry for r****m to stop.

Even after the Grand Jury hears all of the relevant testimony, sees the corroborating ballistics and forensics reports, weighed all of the eye witness accounts, and then come to their conclusion...it's not good enough.

Add to that that I just saw a news article where some of the "conflicting eyewitnesses" lied under pressure and you have a particularly frustrating situation.

I noted on the news this morning how the Pres. is rethinking the armament of police with surplus military gear. Wow - now the thugs who come up with these military style weapons with armor piercing ammo, body armor, hostages will not have to worry about being stopped and of course this also means more dead cops and other innocent people.
One just needs to remember the big shoot out when 2 robbers had machine guns and "FULL - head to toe - body armor kept police pined down till a store owner opened his gun racks to the police. This Pres. lives in la la land when it comes to the reality of what it takes to deal with the criminals and ignorant/dangerous peoples out there in the real world.

I live in Pennsylvania. We had some State Policemen who lived in a predominantly white area ( Pocono Mountains area ). They were assinated by a crazy white right wing nut that h**es the government. Ask their family how lucky they think they are. There are extreme factions in every group. The white nuts are as bad as the black nuts or the mid eastern nuts. Nuts are nuts, and I respect the police that have to deal with them all.

I live in PA too. This has become a racial thing. In PA, it was white on white crime, throughout the US, there is a problem. Too many i***ts are made cops. Anyone viewing the video where the 12-yr. old was murdered by police can see that some police are no good and have to be weeded out. Why do people have to wait until until a child is k**led? Police are humans, there are ones who are excellent and one who shouldn't be able to hold a gun.

I had forgotten all about this one. This was in my opinion Murder 2, and the cops got a walk on it.

So why does one faction deal within the system while the other simply burns the town down...that that really goes a long way to curb r****m.

Quite unfortunately there are situations like this that are perpetrated by the few bad apples/over zealous police that can be found in most any law enforcement agency - they can't be weeded out till they cross the line of unacceptable behavior.

We do need cops, to keep order in society and protect us from lawlessness. They do a damn good job in the US.
But those who cross the line need to pay for their crime, and held accountable.

Like I said before even MalcomX stated the police are necessary......

This is what is called the "gang or pack" mentality - a gathering of folks showing off to each other as to who can be the biggest bad ass.

Unfortunately, the system doesn't always get it right. Some chose not to accept the Grand Jury decision in Ferguson (I think they got it right). Some chose not to accept the OJ verdict ( I thought they got it wrong). The difference is in the reaction...I didn't r**t. What good does a r**t do for anyone?anyone?
