The title sounds a bit like the name of a sports team.
I got excited when I spotted three of these circling the area, but only had one to shoot by the time I grabbed the camera. Most of the shots were duds that were quickly deleted. The following were a little bit better. I continue to struggle with getting birds in flight.
Feel free to make suggestions.
Vicki, these are very nice shots, nicely in focus and the only thing I might add is to give maybe another 1/2 or 1/3rd stop exposure because you are photographing in the shade of their bodies/wings. So many BIF shots are blurry or out of focus but yours are very well done. Yours are also close enough to see the BIF. As I am told with my macro shooting, practice, practice and practice.

Nice captures. Great BIF's are difficult and take a lot of practice. Keep at it and you will get there.
Excellent captures Vicki.
Vicki:
these were handheld with a 400mm lens?
Looking at your exif, I'd use a higher ISO than 200 so you could get a faster shutter speed, which might improve the number of keepers you get.
BIF are tough, especially handheld - the subject is moving, you're moving to follow its path, so there is a lot of motion blur introduced potentially, unless your camera-holding technique is really solid or you have a super-fast shutter speed - preferably both.

Very nice, Vicki. I appreciate any good BIFs because I know how difficult it is. I am just starting to take a few, but haven't taken one that is good enough to post yet. I do like these. :-) :-)

Very well done Vicki, the more opportunities you get the better you will be. Good BIF shots, well done
Nice job, Vicki. It's like the old joke about getting to Carnegie Hall--practice, practice. I think the tip about using the higher ISO and faster shutter speed is a good one.

I'd love to practice more if I could get more of these birds to visit my yard. The ones I normally see are merely black dots, hard enough to see much less use for practice. :-) Ah, well, another place another time.
I appreciate and thank you for the good advice Dennis. It makes lots of sense.
