Accidental HDR

Brown truck dropped off a set of extension tubes. Ran out in the back yard to try one out on some lichen growing on the fence and forgot to reset the camera from the bracketing I was doing the day before.
Three shots, +- 2 stops. Fused in Photomatix Pro. Not a lot of difference...
The clump is 1/2 inch so this isn't quite a macro.

Very nice accident.
I've go to get out there and play/work with HDR more. My Pentax K% does a pretty good job in-camera HDR that has allowed me to get some good shots that would not have worked without HDR. The "Auto HDR" setting keeps it realistic.
