There are lots of eagles, geese and ducks on the Missouri River and Lewis and Clark Lake. The lake will freeze over and the geese will migrate but the eagles will be there for the winter.

I can spend all day along the rivers edge and watch the eagles as they come and go catching fish. I have yet to capture a good photo of the eagle with his talons on the water grasping the fish. But, I do have all winter.
