Plymouth Whale

Architect1776 Loc: In my mind

Took a trip to MA for work and spent the weekend in Plymouth.
What an interesting place. Took a whale observing tour. Lots of "smart phones" that died about 1/3 of the way through and before the best whales showed up. Glad I had a real camera.
I used a 7D with 100-400L. If you do this sort of tour a long zoom is really needed. This photo was not cropped.

Super! Barnacles on the side there? Very neat.

I'm a direct descendant of a Mayflower passenger, so I found Plimoth Plantation to be especially interesting.
