With the same Celestron C11 SCT.
This has not been flipped or corrected in Lightroom yet.
I think its cleaner.
Thoughts?
Ok.. I'm done adding and flipping etc.

OK this good stuff. Great clean round stars. The focus is excellent on this shot. The Core Nebulosity beautiful.
It's such a good shot to begin with at ISO 2500 I can't tell the difference (noise reduction) without zooming in to 300%.
I'm not sure but on the flip, I think any processing slightly degrades the JPEG? Not that my eyes could ever tell.
All Good Stuff, your best Orion I've seen.

This is why I think the 7D is on its last legs. I can't get sharp macros with it and the Orion shots are much noisier than in the past.
I mean really 2500 ISO and noisy yes but not too bad.

I tried stacking using Photoshop align and merge.
This is what I got, rotated for SCT correction and slight Gaussian filter added to reduce noise.

Beautiful job of getting the core of the Nebula.

Thank you. I'm liking this stack process.
