No way am I giving up my D800 or D800E. Still, unless you need a pro body and/or a full frame sensor, the D750 might be the best value in a DSLR Nikon has produced since the D200.

Jerry, both are great tools aimed to different photographers. The D810 I believe caters better to professionals.
Although I only use the DX format if I were in the market for a FX camera the D750 would fit me well and 24 megapixels are more pixels than I will ever need.
