Frost Flowers

I posted these in photo gallery by mistake. I was cutting my pasture and came across these Frost Flowers,Ice ribbons,etc. and took these shots with my iPhone. I left my camera on the kitchen counter. I was hoping some one would make them a little more detailed or sharper so I could blow the up to 8x10 or larger. Thanks

1. Sharpened in Piccure+
2. Increased structure and Contrast, NIK Viveza
3. Lightened Shadows, Camera Raw Filter
4. Applied Dynamic Contrast, Darken/Lighten Center, NIK Color Efex
5. Recolored with a light touch of Midnight Waterfalls, Topaz Restyle (almost like adding a neutral density filter to absorb some of the light)
6. Resized image to 300 dpi, 10 x 7.5 inches (to maintain proportions), PS CC 2014.
Now, to the eye, this may not look all that much different. Your original photo MTG44 was quite good and other than resizing, could stand very well on its own.
Please view in download mode, then click once again in center of photo to see all the detail available for the printer.

That's rather good, very subtle changes that have brought out a lot of detail.

Nice Photo. Opened in Camera Raw and added a little clarity. Used Perfect Resize to resize photo to 16x20 at 300 dpi. Back into Photoshop for some additional levels adjustment to bring out more contrast between the background and the ice.

Thanks for taking your time to help. I think the improvements are great . I clicked on the center like you said and nothing came up. If I were to take the same photo again what would you do different to make it more dramatic. I think if a I was further away and could crop it would have made a it better. Thanks again.

Great photo, opened in Lightroom did some exposure adjustments - added a touch of warmth, adjusted highlights and shadows black and white points added clarity, sharpening and used radials and brush to dramatize the lighting and the brush for some light dodge and burn to bring out detail and contrast..
