A big spider shell taken with 100mm lens at about 12 inches or so, not quite macro. It kept spinning back and forth until I turned the wood-stove fan off and waited for it to settle down, these things are incredibly light and will move with the slightest breeze.

It was around 20 images stacked with zerene and a lot of PS for the fun of it. The point of interest here is that I used zerene to produce a depth map that allowed a background image to be easily added (by using the depth map as a mask on the image). Zerene popped into 30 day demo mode for me however, as the depth map is a “pro” feature. So I have to soul search if this is enough to warrant an upgrade.
