Didn't know what that was so I googled it. Lots of info on google. Sorry I couldn't help.

Suggest going to the adapter catalog first to find out which adapters are available for which cameras. The choice of P&S cameras are going to be limited to those with fixed lenses that do not retract when powered down.
I use a Canon A590 IS with an adapter mount that lets me zoom in and out as I want.
Old Nikon Coolpix 950, 990, 995 are cheap to buy and can work well for this application. I have adapted my 990 to microscopes and telescopes at different times. The zoom is internal and I get to justify the $1000 new price I paid a decade ago. I have seen them sell for $50 on eBay. The adapters may cost more...
Digiscoping is a term to describe using a digital camera to record distant images by coupling it with an optical telescope.
I was doing this back before it has a name.
I never thought to patent it.

Not familiar with that scope but I am trying to digiscope with a dslr & Celestron 22x 67x. I belong to a site on Yahoo called digiscopingbirds.com. The concensus on that site is at this time: Nikon V1, Nikon P300, & Canon S95(which shoots raw)
Attaching the scope to the camera as the main lens is not digiscoping.
Digiscoping is attaching the lens of the camera to the eyepiece of the scope.
