"New B******i Investigation Finds No Fault in Response"

Is the title of a New York Times report, November 22, 2014, p. A15.

"A two-year investigation by Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee has found that the C.I.A. and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a United States diplomatic compound in B******i, Libya, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administrative employees. Debunking a series of persistent allegations hunting at dark conspiracies, the investigation determined that there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a C.I.A. rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue team, no evidence the C.I.A. was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria."

I suspect this will not convince some of the conclusion jumpers who posted their convictions here right after the event.

This reads like a press release from The Hillary Clinton for President Committee.

The Republican-controlled House committee that issued this report obviously considered it to be embarrassing to the panel, which had been hoping to be able to prove B******i was connected to the grassy hill in Dallas, because the committee issued it on a Friday afternoon--a time when politicians commonly release embarrassing information because Friday afternoon releases avoid news scrutiny (this practice is commonly referred to as a "Friday news dump"). You can be sure that if the committee considered the report to be embarrassing to or critical of the Obama administration it would not have been issued on a Friday afternoon.

Instead of watching FOX News' biased reporting on this, you might want to read the report and draw your own fair and balanced conclusions:

It turned out like the previous 8 investigations. FOX "news" and the republicans use B******i to tarnish Hillary Clinton. They're scared to death of a Clinton presidency and have tarred and feathered the president long ago. No matter how hard they try, they can't get the facts to fit their h**e. Funny thing about facts. This has been a waste of money, one committee still is investigating...

Exactly. This has had nothing to do about B******i, and everything to do about Hillary Clinton. These numerous B******i investigations have been one long shameful waste of taxpayers' money.
