Beautiful reminders of summer, Amy! I've heard that the inside of the passion flower fruit is good to eat. :-)

Thanks to all for looking and commenting. Dixiegirl, when I was growing up, we called this an 'apricot'. Don't ask me why! And yes, I have eaten the insides. It is very seedy, like a persimmon, which is quite tasty, if you can deal with the seeds.

Very familiar with persimmons. In fact, they're some of my favorite fruit. We used to call the passion flowers 'maypops', and they grew everywhere around my grandmother's house in the country. Evidently the birds found the pods before I did. :-D Thanks, Amy! Sounds like we've been around the same countryside.

Nice group, Amy. I liked the privet hedge berries shot best, but they're all very well done. Good work!
