Almost two years ago, giant changing robots invaded Chicago.
(Please note, I changed words to avoid copyright infringements)
Asphalt erupted
Concrete from buildings made of glass and steel
Very heavy foam walls
Almost two years later, same location
Scene during filming
Neet neet neet Chicago will never be the same what part of chi town was this taken in?
You have a good eye for some different images. Thanks for posting.

This was an empty lot on the corner of Washington and Franklin. They used it to store some of the styrofoam props. The overhead view of the acting was around Wabash and Randolph.
It was about four years ago I was walking along the same area and there were all these cops just hanging around. Their arm patch said "Gotham Police" and then a police van came around the corner. It too said Gotham. Alas, no camera with me at that time.
It's fun when they use Chicago as a backdrop for movies.
Being in Utah, opportunity has presented itself a few times but I have never been able to get in close enough for a good shot. Seems they do a really good job of keeping us away. I hope to sneak in next time for a couple photos.
Love the foam concrete.
Was that from Transformers ?
Fun shots! I watched them film the Blues Brothers movie. That was interesting. They did most of their filming on Sundays mornings. It was the only way they could shut down Wacker Drive. My dad used to have an office at the corner of Washington Blvd & Canal st. It has long since been torn down. It was convenient when we lived in Mt. Prospect. Just Hop on the Chicago & Northwestern, get off at Northwestern Station and walk across the street. Never had to drive the Kennedy.
