I'd love to have one of those red ones sitting in my back yard for a combination study/photo workshop.

I actually had a line on a leftover caboose at the rail yard in Frankfort, Indiana, about 20 years ago for a really good price, pulled to a siding about two miles me. Then I found out it would cost over 20,000 dollars for permits, fees, hauling, etc. to get it those last two miles. At least it was a thought.

just moved to a 55+ community, don't think they would allow one of those in our back yard, not much bigger than a caboose, but they cut the grass, wack the weeds, shovel the snow, take are of the pool, all grounds, 100 acres of open land and the community center.

A blue Penn Central caboose is very unusual.
Do you know anything about it (usually they are green)

I found this one and the other 2 in front of a Ace hardware store on rt 926 in Pa. don't know why the blue color, maybe it was sad.
