This piece is in excellent condition, it looks like it is brand new, amazingly clean for its age.
What you are looking at is actually two separate pieces with a lens in the middle, the one side is a macro bellows that is perfect for a indoor macro studio, the lower portion of the bellows is a focus rail which can be tripod mounted and is micro adjusted with a thumb screw for focus and focus stacking. In the center of this piece is an Asahi Pentax 50mm f/1.4 Super Multi Coated Takumar lens. The lens is in pristine condition and has been UV treated to remove the yellowing that occurs in these "atomic lenses" over the years. This lens has been cleared and is an optional item in this listing. The remaining piece in this listing is a slide copier which I had to purchase separately as the bellows was so wonderful I got it I felt that I should complete the set. I'll also throw in an angle view finder that I have mounted to my Canon EOS camera with no problem.
This is an excellent piece for anyone looking to digitize their old 35mm slides or for any macro photographer who wants to take the next step in their photography.
The bellows comes with two metal magnification scales that magnetically mount to the top of the bellows so that you can calculate the magnification of the images that you are creating, it comes with a genuine Asahi Pentax reversing ring so that you can reverse a 49mm filter threaded lens to the bellows for extreme magnifications, and it comes with a dual trigger release that was originally designed to fire both the camera and stop down the lens simultaneously.
The slide copier is a single unit and is specifically designed for this particular unit.
The lens as already stated is the Asahi Pentax Legacy lens that can be used manually on many modern DSLR's and 4/3's cameras. I use them on my Canon with a simple adapter that I can include should a Canon buyer purchase the set.
