Are you going to hint at what money you're hoping to get?

BTW - I'm having trouble parsing your list - there is a lot of information crushed into a tiny amount of space.

Dear Digit,
I am Pentax user since the screw mount days. I now have a K3 and a bunch of legacy lenses, but I am interested in two of your longer lenses. The first and third are most interesting. Of course Image Quality is most important to me, so, which one is better? I will have to do some research on a reasonable price, so please let me know your recommendation.
Thanks,
TreborLlow

As far as their condition is concerned Both the sigma 170-500mm, AND the Pentax 55-300mm are in like new condition. I say like new because they truly look and function as if NEW. I own both and use both, But I recently bought a Pentax 60-250 for a little over a thousand dollars, that made these two a bit of redundancy for me. Both are pristine..The Sigma "gets-out-there". You can P.M me if you wish. RJM I can't say which one is BETTER...BUT the 55-300mm has given me Quite SHARP photos..

sorry about that. POOR listing, I'm not "in the business, and I guess I'm not that motivated. If among that list of lenses, you see something of interest, let me know. I also just "TWO-FINGER TYPE" and to list all the specifics and prices of ten K-mount/pentax lenses, I wish to sell, seems very time consuming. I may just call KEH tomorrow and let them have them 'en-mass".Pictures taken, hand held 300mm lens. I want 400 for the Sigma170-500///// I want 150 for the 55-300 Pentax, and I have eight or nine others I'm parting with.. All are in excellent condition.. I would call them all, like new as far as I can tell.

hand-held 55-300mm Pentax DA L

I'm not a salesman and I don't like to "DICKER" but if you have any interest in any of the aforementoined lenses, I'm going to be "more than FAIR on price, Make an offer, if you would. RJM

Dear Digit,
Yes, I would like the Pentax 55-300. I don't like to 'dicker' either, so I will go along with your price. I have never purchased anything like this online, so please explain how we go about concluding the transaction. I will be traveling for Thanksgiving and return home on December 2nd, so my computer access will be limited. You may try my email (woll@siena.edu) or call my cell phone (518-956-1254). We will be in Eastern time and Central time during this trip.
Have a nice Thanksgiving.
Bob (Trebor)

I was interested in your 170-500 lens until I checked E-Bay. They sell the same lens in Like-New condition for $150. I feel your price of $400 is way out of line with the market. Thanks, Richard

well I must say that that price is certainly much less than what I paid for it less than a year ago. I have no explanation for how it could be so little?? I have sold it though, along with a Pentaxx DAL 55-300mm lense. I'm now offering 3 (three) different lenses all three for 100 dollars........All K-mount lenses/// sigma 70-210mm(AF) sigma 135 Mini-tele(M)/// and an osawa 28-80mm(macro) manual./// Merry christmas, spread the word. So....did you buy it for $150..?? If not why not?? One hundred and fifty dollars seems rediculously cheap for such a lens. Mines gone, and I got a fair price for this lens in like new condition...

The lens on Ebay for $150.00 is not "Buy it Now" item it is up for auction and the current bid is $152.00 with a couple of days still left on the bidding. I assure you the lens will sell for much more than the current bid. That's how Ebay works.

I guess highclod didn't know that. It seems to me that the 170-500 would pretty easily get more than $150. He was insulting my intelligence,or admitting his LACK, there-of. Or, maybe he was just trying to weasel me down to a price he likes. Which-ever, is irrelevent, I sold it and another together for a FAIR price. RJM
