Too many catch lights in eyes and on lips.

I think the catch lights on the lips and left eye are fine, but those on the right eye give the model a startled look. I obscured the left side of the photo and found the resulting "half portrait" very pleasing.

In not a portrait type person, but I will say the the lighting on her right eye is giving her the appearance that is crossed in that one eye, I think it is called a lazy eye not cross eyed. I think if you just remove the glare from the white of the right side of the right eye it might help.

I reworked it. Is this better?

I think it is, you might want to give her right eye some eye liner so it matches some what the second. I also think I would whiten the whites a tad. They seem a little red. That lazy eye seems to have straightened up. I don't know how the others feel.

Hi George. This lady is very interesting. I think it is still a little bright and everything seems to be very sharp. I would like to see it a little darker and a little softer. Would you mind if I played a little? I am not very good at post, but I love to try.:)

I think the pupils are too dark. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it. Just saying. Beautiful young lady

I don't think the pupils are too dark, but They appear to be too sharp around the outer edge. Most eyes are sort of blurred around the edge. I think that is what drew me to feel there was something wrong with the photo in the first place. Keep working on it, I feel it is getting better with each re-edit.

I think it falls into the category of overworked slightly. Her skin is like porcelain, which is maybe what you wanted< her eyes do not look at all real. her lips lack detail now.The pupils appear very dark. She has a doll like appearance with all the edits. A more natural look I think would suit her better. she is a stunning girl and its a nice shot for sure. Just needs a redo.
Problem is with LR and no layers I do not know how you selectively apply changes. Not sure Lightroom is up to the task in hand.

I'll work on it tomorrow. A lot of the edits were done in Photoshop, as well as LR.

There is a great photo in there for sure. LR seems fine for gentle retouch work but serious in depth PP needs Photoshop. Not because a shot is bad but to get the absolute best out of it and the effect you want. I have LR5.3 and never go near it. PP wise I cant find what it can do that Photoshop cannot and it maybe familiarity but PS is easier in use.
Look forward to seeing your re edit
