Bill Cosby, who's been a beloved comedian and sitcom star for decades, has been accused of sexually assaulting multiple women. Cosby, 77, who was never criminally charged in any case, settled a civil suit in 2006 with a woman over an alleged incident two years before, The Associated Press reported. Cosby's attorney, John P. Schmitt, issued a statement Sunday saying his client would not dignify decade-old, discredited claims of sexual abuse with a response.
I just saw him on TV, he looks like a beaten, resigned, old man, Ive never seen him like this. Six women have now come forward. Are these charges true or false? The networks are dropping any shows of Cosbys planned or already filmed. Could this man, who did stand-up and TV shows where he was the wonderful father and sometimes even lecturing us, possibly (GULP) even be acting? You mean he was a man, with failings like any other man? Thoughts?

Being a man like any other man doesn't excuse the kind of behavior mentioned here. Thank God only a man like VERY FEW other men would take part in, excuse, or any way condone such behavior.

I saw him when he was on TTS with Jimmy Fallon a few months back and he didn't make a damn bit of sense.
It seemed like some sort of dementia was setting in.

Lets not forget these are allegations. Either Cosby is a dirty old man or these six women are trying to make a fast buck.

If these allegations are true, he's proven himself to be a serial rapist, giving women pills. I've heard that these women don't want money. I've also heard a reporter say that in about 2008, there were 13 alleged incidents. I don't know how much of this is true and can't substantiate anything because the situation is very fluid and changing.

Donna we have had several sex abuse cases over here concerning well known "entertainment" stars. Rolf Harris had been a big star for nearly 50 years, he had even been invited by the queen to do a portrait of her!.He is now in gaol.
Women are now more willing (and the police more ready to investigate) and come forward and expose these men, who think because they are famous can get away with molesting young girls and women and get away with it!!

I was raped by a serial rapist when I was young. These charges against Cosby go back to the 70's. He adapted the all knowing, moral pillar of society. If these charges are true and I think they are, this "human being" - and I use those words very lightly - is not worthy of the air he breathes. He's dying in a self-made hell right now.

Donna your subject and concerns about this now disgraced comedian and supposedly father figure, brings about many a questions. But given the fact that he is a man, why are you strictly making the statement "You mean he was a man, with failings like any other man?". Women have been known to have been just as inhumane and cruel as well. It goes both ways Donna. This is no excuse for what he is accused of. And with his released statement that he will "not dignify decade-old, discredited claims of sexual abuse", tells me he is guilty as hell. Otherwise he would adamantly be taking a more serious stand than he is now. I too, once admired him, he always expressed strong feelings of compassion and sympathy when speaking of those in need. Now my feelings about him is.....he is another two face liar like that of OJ. Just IMO

He was good back in the day! But I don't like him because he took the Our Gang away from us!!!! Said it was raises and bought the rights to them all and has them at home.:(
I never thought it was and enjoyed the gang! They made some awesome things out of junk to play with.And some of them I copied got me in trouble.:):)
