A very fine snow was falling today. Most of the snowflakes broke upon impact, but I got lucky to find some in a spider's web. At best, they may have been about 1 mm in size.
Impressive. How did you capture this super-macro image?
Thank you. I used a Nikon 40 mm and braced the camera against an upright deck post to which the web was attached. I took about a dozen photos and was able to capture this one. The others were out of focus or the snowflakes were twisted off plane because of the wind. I got lucky! Oh, yes, and heavy cropping, too.

never thought of that, soon as it snows i'll have to give it a try
Well done especially as the web was moving in the wind. I know how difficult it is to capture tiny spiders in their webs in breezy conditions. If ever it snows here I will have a go.
