A few more birds from last summer

Here's a few more from last summer.....just wanted to share. I've got a lot of catching up to do. The Red-winged Black Bird in #1 was defending his territory but made it an interesting shot. I think #2 is a Cooper's Hawk but not certain. Can anyone ID #2?

Another great set Sunfish, I think your hawk is a Red-shouldered hawk.

Great shots Lamar, love the colors and detail. Looks like an immature Cooper's Hawk, with the green/yellow eyes, and the vertical striping on the chest feathers, and long tail, as well as the over all coloring

These are fantastic shots Lamar. I believe your hawk is a juvenile Cooper's Hawk. Note the distinctive yellow cere on this one that the Red-shouldered doesn't have.
