For some inexplicable reason there are some members who
have taken to trashing the 7D MkII, lately. What's of particular interest is that the severest criticism comes from those who neither own the camera nor do they post pictures to substantiate their arguments. Bless them for speaking their minds but they should also accept the rebuttals presented by those who oppose their views.

Here are two images taken on a dismally dreary morning with heavy overcast, snow and a dark forest canopy over top.

For a cropped camera I think these two are acceptable considering the extreme ISO used to take them.

Some people enjoy being contrary Joe but I agree, if you are going to talk trash about something, BACK IT UP or take the verbal diarrhea somewhere else.

Those two are several steps up from merely acceptable.

Those are mighty fine images, I think the M II is an excellent camera, so much so, that I decided to get me one too (already have 5D II & 5D III & EOS 1v), but I like the thought of an APS-C camera (will be my first), for the extra reach.

Bravo! I'll take two! The nuthatch is so crisp given the conditions!

Excellant photos. What focusing pattern did you use? With 65 points and different groupings you have a lot of choices. Thanks.

I think every camera out there has their critics who don't use them. I wouldn't give it a second thought about the model you shoot with besides your images prove just how good your camera, lens, & skill are. 8-)

Great shots as always Joe, super detail and colors even at those ISO's. The 7D MkII is a winner, as are your shots
