Frank, I have YET to see ANY facts that will support this "theory" - If you check the "C02 curve" graph from Mauna Loa (An active volcano, spewing out, hmmm, lemme see, oh yeah C02) you will notice (If you bother to read the fine print) that the curve results from "Mean average levels" - which are based on yearly averages, except for the most recent and oldest readings, which are based on "weighted 7-year averages". Color me skeptical, but when you have to jigger your data to fit your theory, that is NOT science. Use some of the gray matter, and don't just swallow the headline whole. Who's the poster boy for "C*****e c****e"? Al Gore? You know, the guy who "invented" the internet?

If you had bothered to do some basic homework, you would have found that It has not erupted since 1984. If you had done your homework, you would also have read that the CO2 measurements are adjusted to account for any CO2 outgassing whenever there was any outgassing occurring. The graph of atmospheric CO2 from the Mauna Loa observatory shows a steady rise of CO2 from 1958 to the present. You just made up the nonsense about having to use a 7 year average to "jigger" the data to show this steady increase. Sorry, but you are completely full of it. Looking only the yearly average, it is clear that the rise of atmospheric CO2 levels steadily rose during the entire 56 year period shown in the graph below, which shows both monthly and yearly averages. You might want to take a minute to grok this yourself with your own eyes, rather than just "swallowing the headlines whole" from your favorite right wing liars. Here, give it a try:

Al Gore never said he "invented" the Internet. His actually word were that he "took the lead in creating the Internet" --- a statement which many people who actually were involved in inventing the Internet certify as true. I bring this up, because it shows that to deniers have no problem distorting the t***h into complete lies if it supports their view.
