To all who have tried to help, Thank You Very Much! I have never changed the (ratio settings) from original (3:2). When I had the photo printed at Walmart and Bob Hartung, I bet your are right, that their machines (truncated) the image of the Living Statue, to make it fit the 4x6 borderless format. Here at home I used Corel PhotoShop Pro X3 as well as Serif PhotoPlus X6 programs to print the photo and I used FastStone Image Viewer4.8 also. The photo attached was taken recently with the Canon ELPH HS300 with the (ratio 3:2). I noticed that the pixels were (2664X4000), which I understand, from the information given here, is correct count for 4x6 format. I checked the (pixel dimensions) of all the photos in my library of photos taken with this camera, and there are none that match. I printed the img_2634.jpg on my HP Color printer tonite and it was fine. I have gone thru the manual and all setting several times since my first post and the only conclusion I can come up with is: there must have been a glich in camera when I too the Living Statue photo. Again thank you to all who have tried to help!!!

I set my camera aspect ratio to photograph the maximum pixels then crop to compose. Last year I printed over a hundred photos 8x10 into the 4x6 format... Walgeen at the special price for over 75 .... re-edit 100 photos to a new format...OUCH!!

What I did was to change the canvas size and added on an area to bring them up to 4x6 from the 4x5 (8x10) product. Faststone Resize (free program) will do batch photo edits.

Regarding the photo above, I would crop away the blacktop at the bottom of the photo... not interesting and has nothing to do with the theme of the flags.

I am not sure if there was a question in your post, but your Canon ELPH HS300 probably has a 3x4 format not a 2x3 format. Also it use to be, I am not sure if still is, that the photo kiosk at the drug store would default all photos to 2x3 format, so if you did any format change by cropping, saved to a memory stick, then went to the drug store for prints, the kiosk will crop your photo again to the 2x3 format.

dpullum, Thanks for your input. As to the photo posted, it was straight from the camera, nothing done to it as yet, will take your advice on crop. Again thanks.

Thanks for your input. I checked the manual and it states the aspect ratio is [ 4:3 ] which I see is the wrong aspect for the photo I am trying to print. I just check the camera settings and it is set to an aspect of [ 3:2 ]. Ian going to take a guess and maybe I had changed the aspect radio when I took the picture, but if that is true then why did the rest of the photos I took print out OK???? I am very confused and think I have to more reading on this aspect ratio! Again thanks
