Does anyone agree or disagree with me that the saving/restoration of constitutional freedom in the USA will require a new political organization (not a party with candidates until they can win) of constitutionalists who understand that the advancement of Islam in the USA must be stopped by political and legal means before there is a bloody civil war?

Agree I think a good start is the Convention of States Article 5 as long as it does not become corrupt like so much of politics.

I think our government has to realize we *do* have a constitution and follow it. In this last e******n, unfortunately too many people were elected who think the country should be ruled with a bible in one hand and a gun in another. The modern day christian is very much like ISIL in training.

disagree... the muslim thing is a diversion from the real issues facing our country... hostile take-over of our government by rich corporations.

I agree completely, the two parties now are so ingrained into the system of paid for laws by special interest they no longer represent the people who v**ed them into office. I think a third party is the answer, however the two existing parties will never let that happen.

If such an organization has enough members and can determine the winners in enough primaries, then there will be nothing to stop it from becoming a party, when the time is right.

Good Lord dljen you are beginning to sound like Larry payne... How many times have you used your foolish "Bible in one hand and gun in another" and "ISIL in Training" I realize you h**e Christians, but your comments just get more foolish as you go..
You are absolutely right we DO have a constitution.... Our Current president has gone around/through and over it time and time again in his 6yrs on office... And getting ready to do so a few more times before he leaves.

note: A premise to my topic is that all of our existing problems can be fixed with the laws and legal tools we have except for the threat from jihad.

You like that saying... but it is untrue. Only one party suggest RULEing the country, nobody has ruled this country since HRH George and now perhaps HRA Obama.

And for the record, the people who wrote the constitution had a bible in one hand and a gun in the other, yet drafted and signed a document that recognizes that both were rights granted by birth.

Tell us what else you don't know about our constitution.

The problem that some people have is simply that a dictatship is much harder or impossible to establish if too many people believe in the liberty, derived from the Christian Bible, and have the ultimate means to defend that liberty.

You may have your christian bible but not everybody believes in your magical guy in the sky. The founders chose that we should have freedom of religion, not wanting to govern with a national religion like England. This also means freedom *from* religion, if you don't know this, it shows you don't know the constitution.

A citizen does not have to be a christian to enjoy the liberty derived from the Christian bible. It is a gift from christians and their God. That liberty should be the vehicle for all legal and moral actions except the destruction of that liberty. I wish all foes of liberty were as nice as you are.

This country's values are not based on any kind of a bible. You don't understand, we don't want your nonsense. The world will be laughing at us because now republicans who don't believe in science, are going to be chairing committees. This country is lagging behind others because some people choose to base their governing on the bible.
