On my old Canon 7D, there was a setting that allowed me to see the focus points that were used on a photo when looking at it through the image preview. I cannot seem to find it on the new 7D Mark ii. Does anyone know where this is, or did Canon remove that feature?
Thanks
I just check the pdf manual included with the camera and on page 359 of the manual is says:
AF Point Display
When [playback option 3: AF point disp] is sent to [Enable], the AF point that achieved focus will be displayed in red. If Automatic AF point selection is set, multiple AF points may be displayed.
I haven't turned this on myself yet but it certainly still seems to be there.
Cheers and happy shooting from another happy 7D Mk II owner.
Thanks, I was looking in the 50 page autofocus manual that Canon put out and wasnt finding it in there

It will change depending on the direction of the action. But I understand you can do that on the fly.
