I have just completed the restoration of my Jaguar XKE V12 which I purchased new in 1973. Not bad for a 39-year old car. Here are some pictures:
Not bad... Not bad at all...
Love to hear that kitty purrrrrr. My dream car, well one of the many, is a '63 XKE. A local restoration shop, Black Horse Garage, had a beauty a couple of years ago. It was BRG and had a very rare sidelatch bonnet.

nice look, good pics. Just wondering if you have any "before" shots to show what work you did.
Love it, a friend had a blue one, fun to drive, but i;ll keep my VETT.

I hate you... :) I had one exactly like it - but Primrose Yellow. Automatic. May 11, 1974 to August 4th, 1975. Paid $7,100 for it, used, with 1400 miles on it. Sold with about 35K miles on it, for $7000.
Had to sell it when I got married and went back to college. Shoulda kept the car...
I remember oil changes were quite the adventure - 12 quarts at a time, eh?
Looks like you did a great job - love the paint color.
Is that your white Eldo in the background? I drive a triple black ETC now..how's that for coincidence..
In 1972 I sat in and drove an XKE V12 and I wanted it so bad but could not get the loan I was only 18 and a New recruit in the USAF at Chanute AFB. I have since then owned every thing else but a Jag. Very luck Person wish it were me ;-(.
Fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fabulous pix. I once owned the forerunner to this car, an E Type Jag, same engine 12 cylinders and two seats. Awsome

Nothing like the growl of a well tuned engine and the smell of leather.
