?? Fate of Gigapan

After trying for several weeks to get a copy of my serial number for the Stitch program from Gigapan (HD crash) And getting no response plus some weird links off their web site I discovered that the CEO of Gigapan laid off staff and then walked out. This was last November. Reports at that time were that the original founder stepped back in to revamp the company but 1 year later I can find no other information.
Does anyone know what is happening with Gigapan?

Gigapan hardware was originally a robotic university project. I followed it when they started it. Since they build the company you know and it seems likely that they are running into legal problem...

I did some digging with help from B&H and found out that Gigapan company is being rebuilt and will display a new name (closely guarded secret) in the near future. Reports infer that it may be as soon as December 2014. So those Gigapan owners are not out the $1,000 but may continue on with the adventure. :lol:
