The OP was hoping to gull those with an IQ less than his into taking him seriously. Apparently, he has succeeded beyond all reasonable expectation, given that this topic has gone on for 14 pages. It seems that notwithstanding his formal, quasi-Victorian style of writing, he qualifies as a troll.

If he was an employee in the Auto industry his tools are probably
his own and the cost would not be passed on. How long he'd have a job for is a debatable point though. If he was an owner operator the customers
would have to pay for his insanity, that is of course if he was to show a
profit... and not go out of business because of untenable debt.

If it was the aviation industry down here, he would not have a job.

The op could have owned a D4S backed up by a D810 and have thousands in change for what he has wasted his money on....

The below notwithstanding of course:

Which proves Birchmans post above... Mind you, the part about IQ
is not necessarily true... when I read the op I thought he was serious. Never underestimate how low the lowest common denominator can be, being an other thought in my mind at the time.

My budget doesn't accommodate D810s but I do carry two Nikons one with a 28-70 2.8 the other with a 70 - 200 2.8. The challenge is finding a bag that will allow both to be quickly accessible. I have a Lowepro 300 sling bag that they can be carried in but it requires some manipulation.

I cross-cross my D600 with a 24-70 and D800 with a 70-200 across my chest like a pair of bandelleros...when speed is required I can move pretty fast while keeping each camera near opposite hips; no banging! Before I needed to shoot video, I loved the old D700. This is best done with a couple of pro shooter straps that mount to the 1/4 20 thread on the bottom...I will never again use the factory neck straps.

The latest and greatest body never compensates for mediocre glass and/or a bad eye. The old grandpa/troll struck a nerve with a lot of us, I think, because if your an amature, then you buy carefully. If you're a pro, then you buy logically. To me, he seems to have a bit of OCD around dust particles. All good, just drop me a note grandpa when the D850 comes out and you need to upgrade, I'll be happy to take your tired, unwanted 18-month-old 810s off your hands ;-)

Sorry for the posting photo error. Below, you will see the photo that had won the award.

Ok, Ok, here are three photos. Both are snapshots quickly taken outdoors on our property.. One is of our baby girl, Maggie May, who is our sweet little Cockapoo puppy. The other is a photo of my lovely wife, Vicki, as she is nestled among our colorful Autumn leaves. The photo of Vicki has had no post processing and it is straight out of the camera.
When I find time and decide to employ a few alterations with Lightroom5 and with Portrait Pro Plus Software, the photo of Vicki will be of much better quality..

The last photo is a copy from my scan file which is a photo that I had taken with an 8"x10" antique view camera which was purchased from a local antique store cira: 1970's which was when I was teaching night classes at our local art center here in Springfield. The print had been exhibited in a PSA international salon competition; I'd taken first place, was given a gold medal with it and it had taken best of show.

Of late, I have been getting gel injections into my knees whereby knee replacements, according to my orthopedic surgeon, are out of the question due to my age ~ as I had turned the age of 70 this past June.

When and if the gel injections work for me, I will be out and about using my arsenal of Nikon D810 cameras with my arsenal of Nikon lenses ;-)

Take care, Doduce and I send you by best regards,
~Doug~
