Beautiful picture! You really captured the glossy color of the berries. I love the vertical leaf--interesting. I like the composition a bit better with closer cropping on the left side--makes a stronger diagonal, I think.

I like this, Bmac, and yet something about it bothers me. Too much negative green space, perhaps, and that powerful purple is weakened by it.

But what to do...I might try cropping this one in close to the berries, rotate the image and let them fill the photo, make a real statement with that great color. Partly depends on the resolution of your original, of course, along with what you personally want from the image.

If you're trying to balance the green with the purple, then ignore the suggestion.

Or perhaps you could blacken the background, or burn it in, keep a few of the bright green leaves for balance, just to really let that purple berry cluster shine.

It's a nice shot as it stands, and nothing wrong with leaving it exactly as is, but just for fun, you might play with it a bit and see what you can do.

I like this a lot, BMAC. As another option, maybe cropping so that the berries run in a diagonal from bottom left to upper right, still living enough outside room to get a feel for the leaves.
Again, nice photo.

I like these, BMAC. Especially the last one. But when viewed with the original, that one also looks great. Now you can pic and choose. All are winners.

Wow!! That is sharp, and I love the color... so vibrant! My wife would love to hand this in our home somewhere---her favorite color. Nice job with the composition as well. Great image!
