Too cool!!! I love that first shot! A perfect portrait and pose. The berries and leaves are wonderfully colorful, and the 'eyelash' shot is a beauty as well. Super series, Linda!

Linda, even though I'm not a fan of the amount of PP that you usually do (just my back woods lack of culture), I really do like the second one. I think the colors, composure, & lighting are beautiful. :-) :-)

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate your kind comments and interest. The sunshine these past few days, the colors, the light - all take me to a very happy place...oh, and I'm expecting a new lens to be delivered tomorrow :)

Sigma 18-250, the newer one, but not the newest that's coming out. This one is supposed to only weigh about a pound and is $350.
It's going to need a lot of light, but I am hopeful it'll work out. I'm lazy about swapping lenses when just want to go from the 18-55 to the 55-250. I do still love my ultra-wide angle, but have about exhausted the local landscape for composition. Maybe our predicted snow showers for later in the week will re-inspire :)
